Apparently a well known and rich real estate icon did not need to place a real estate wanted ad for long as she is expected to leave the value of her entire real estate to the welfare of dogs. Leona Helmsley passed away in August 2007 and left 12 million to her dog named Trouble but that is only a portion of the $8 billion fortune that will be enjoyed by other dogs. This caused a public outcry and many have stepped forward to publicly threaten her Maltese, Trouble which led to her guardian hiring security worth $100,000 annually in order to protect and safeguard the poor pooch.

A house/duplex can be a great choice of home. In some parts of the world, it is also known as a semi detached house whereby the two units share the same wall between them. Duplexes are sought after by extended families who want all their family members to stay in close proximity with each other. Although this sort of property can be rather dear, more and more families are seeking loans in order to pay the mortgage on their desired duplex. Apparently nothing is more precious to their children than living with their grandparents and sometimes aunts and uncles under the same roof.

Whether you are buying waterfront homes for your investment or as your personal enjoyment, you should know that it is not a cheap piece of property. If the property that you are interested in is located near a lake, do take note and see if the lake’s level is consistent or not. It also helps if you can visit the area and your potential neighbors and ask them what is the condition like when each season arrives. With luck they will reveal a bit more about the waterfront homes that you are so eager to purchase. Another reminder is to make sure you can access electricity and water as well as all the basic amenities.

If you are seeking multi family homes, perhaps it is wise if you shopped around and looked for affordable apartments, town houses or duplexes for sale. Even renting one can be rather commendable in keeping your extended family together. You can opt to purchase more than one apartment unit and if possible, do consider eliminating the walls between the units so that your entire family can fit into the overly large single unit. Your kids will surely enjoy growing up with their grandparents! Likewise your parents will be overjoyed seeing their grandkids growing up before their very eyes.

Foreclosures can be very depressing for more property owners. The first thing that you should do is address the issue with your spouse and do not be afraid to be berated. Come clean and be as honest as you can in order to solve the problem. The last thing you want is to keep more skeletons in the closet and create a row with your loved one. Get some help and communicate with your mortgage provider. Other than that it is also wise to contact a debt management agency so that you can start watching what you spend from now on.

Buying your own land is so much more better than purchasing a ready made home. Heed those land for sale signs and you might just get a good deal. Now that you are a landowner, you can choose your own home builder and design your own humble abode. Be aware of the rules and regulations set by your council because should you fail to adhere to the laws you might be fined and your home design will never be approved, rendering them useless. Good luck purchasing your first piece of land and hopefully, building your first town home or bungalow will not be a gargantuan task!
